Laser Cutting Services For The Metal Fabrication & Manufacturing Industry
Tendon Manufacturing uses two fiber-optic laser cutting machines for everyday production. These machines can cut up to 3/4” thick metal and have cutting tables that measure 60” x 120”. The advantages of laser cutting are the accuracy, less deburring and no tooling costs. Tendon’s lasers get maintenance weekly to ensure accuracy and to reduce machine downtime.

Laser Cutting: Types of Metals We Work With
The most commonly used metals in our plant are: 3003, 5052 and 6061 aluminum, cold rolled and hot rolled steel, 303, 304 and 316 stainless steel. We stock every grade listed above less than .250” thick.
- Any aluminum less than ¼” thick.
- Any steel less than ¼” thick.
- Any stainless steel less than ¼” thick.
- Brass less than ¼” thick.
- Bronze less than ¼” thick.
