Metal Fabrication & Manufacturing Quality Assurance

Tendon’s quality assurance starts at the time raw material is delivered to our facility and does not end until all finished parts are approved by the customer. During the manufacturing process, we have installed many different Quality Procedures to reduce and eliminate errors. Different routing sheets are used for new customers, new parts and new revisions to ensure accurate setup and tooling. The first 5% of parts are inspected at each station of the fabrication process – not just at the end. This helps eliminate errors early on in the process.

Quality Supervisors and the Quality Manager are audited by a third party on a semi-annual basis and all measuring tools are re-calibrated/re-certified every quarter. Our preventative maintenance program ensures that all machines are cleaned and serviced on a weekly basis to reduce machine downtime.
