Dayton Metal Fabrication Shop
Tendon Manufacturing has a 50,000 square foot facility with 3 lasers, 3 turrets, 6 machining centers, MIG/TIG/spot welding capabilities, 6 brake presses, 2 stamping machines, 4 fastener insertion machines and a full powder coat line.
Dayton Powder Coating Service
Our powder coating department includes 3 booths, 3 stage washing, 1,000 point conveyor line and ovens that reach 600 degrees. Tendon works with all powder coat and wet spray manufacturers.
Dayton Metal Extrusion
Tendon can source any extrusion that is required and stock it for our customers. We machine, assemble, paint and silk screen extrusions to customer prints.
Dayton Laser Cutting
With 3 lasers and 3 turrets we cut a lot of metal! From .015” - .375” thick, we can cut aluminum, brass, copper, stainless and mild steel up to 60” wide and 120” long.
Dayton Optical Laser Cutting
In December 2016 Tendon purchased a fiber-optic laser to open up capacity and increase our work efficiency. This machine has twin 60” x 120” tables and runs 24/7 using its pallet changer. Large production orders are a great fit for this machine as it cuts up to 1,200 inches per minute!
Dayton Welding
We have over 10 welders on staff spread over three shifts. We offer MIG/TIG and spot welding of aluminum, stainless steel and mild steel. Our certified welders have worked on aerospace parts, defense parts and medical parts.
Dayton CNC Machining
Tendon has 6 HAAS machining centers, 10 Bridgeports and 12 full time machinists. Our biggest machining center has a travel of 48” x 48” x 24”.
Dayton Prototype Design
Our three full time engineers are available for design work and assistance in improving customer designs. They have over 80 years of manufacturing experience and will be glad to help with your prototype needs.
Dayton Silk Screening
Tendon has the ability to silk screen customer parts with any design or ink needed. We can silk screen to painted parts or panel-finished metal.
In-House Logistics from Concept to Delivery to Dayton Ohio Locations:
With the help of our logistics team, we send truckloads to the Cincinnati and Dayton areas on a weekly basis. By coordinating deliveries among dozens of customers, we can spread the freight cost around and make for cheap deliveries. Tendon also has a dedicated account manager that handles Southern Ohio who is a phone call or email away.
