Tendon Manufacturing is a one-stop shop for all your metal needs in the Youngstown area. Whether you are looking for laser cutting, stamping, forming, welding, assembly, or powder coating; Tendon does everything in our Northeast Ohio facility.

Tendon’s powder coat line was revamped in 2018 with a new conveyor system, new washing systems and two new powder booths. Tendon’s powder coat line was built to handle large production runs while also appeasing the small batch runs.

We source, stock, cut, machine and powder coat different extrusions. Tendon has partnered with several Youngstown extruders to help source custom extrusions for our clients.

Tendon Manufacturing has several fiber-optic lasers and CO2 lasers to handle all types of orders. Our largest tables are 60” x 120” and the maximum thicknesses we cut is ½”.

Tendon Manufacturing has four lasers that can cut up to ½” thick material. We cut aluminum, stainless steel and mild steel. Our largest cutting table is 60” x 120”. Tendon’s new fiber-optic laser can cut up to 2,000 inches per minute!

Tendon’s welding department consists of 15 welders spread across three shifts. We offer MIG, TIG, Robotic welding and spot welding on aluminum, stainless steel and mild steel.

Tendon originally started as a machine shop back in 1988 so we take a lot of pride in our machining capabilities. Today we have 6 Haas VF4’s and VF6’s, 11 Bridgeports, 7 lathes, drill presses and surface grinders.

Our engineers are skilled in several design platforms and have over 40 years of fabrication experience! Tendon’s engineers know how parts should be made because they used to be the ones making them. Call us for your next prototype and/or design project.

Tendon offers digital printing and silk screening in-house. Multiple colors and logos are no issue at Tendon.
