Chicago Metal Fabrication Shop
At our 50,000 square foot facility in Cleveland, Ohio we turn prototypes and production orders into completed products for our customers. Among our extensive equipment; includes three lasers, six machining centers, six press brakes and over 75 highly skilled employees.
Chicago Powder Coating Service
Through the application of a 3 stage wash system and a 1,000-point conveyor line; Tendon is able to efficiently meet the powder coating needs of our customers. We can obtain any color and finish desired.
Chicago Metal Extrusion
We will stock, cut and machine extrusion to meet customer designs. We have strategic extrusion manufacturers that we work with in order to get fast and accurate material.
Chicago Laser Cutting
Tendon has three CO2 lasers and a fiber-optic laser that have the ability to cut up to 3/8" thick material. The bed sizes range from 48” x 96” to 60” x 120”. All four lasers cut aluminum, stainless steel and mild steel.
Chicago Optical Laser Cutting
Our Baykal New BLS-NEO fiber-optic laser has twin 60” x 120” laser tables and a pallet changer. We can cut up to ¼” thick aluminum, stainless and mild steel. The fiber laser can cut at speeds up to 1,400 inches per minute!
Chicago Welding
We have 12 full-time welders on staff who average over twenty years of experience. We off MIG/TIG and spot welding of aluminum, stainless steel and mild steel. Tendon’s welding department operates on three shifts to provide rapid turnaround on both prototyping and production orders.
Chicago CNC Machining
Tendon has eight full-time machinists on staff who have worked in manufacturing for a combined 150 years! Through 6 HAAS machining centers and 10 Bridgeports we are able to turnover your prototypes or production orders in an expedited manner.
Chicago Prototype Design
Tendon can manufacture prototypes in as quick as three days. Our experienced engineers on staff are proficient in multiple design softwares including: GibbsCam, SolidWorks, and Striker. We also offer 3D printing as a cheaper and faster alternative to prototyping.
Chicago Silk Screening
Tendon will silkscreen to painted parts or panel finished metal. Whether it is a logo, instructions or warnings; your needs will be met. Your business has made its' mark, let Tendon make your mark on your product.
