Tendon Manufacturing is a 24/7 metal fabricating and machining plant based in Cleveland. We offer: engineering/design services, laser cutting, punching, stamping, forming, machining, welding, assembly, powder coating and silk screening all in our 50,000 square foot facility.
Akron Powder Coating Service
Tendon offers powder coating and wet spraying using our 3 stage wash, 1,000-point conveyor system and 3 powder booths. No matter what the color or finish is, Tendon can achieve it.
Akron Metal Extrusion
Tendon stocks, cuts, machines, powder coats and silkscreens extrusions to customer prints. If you have an extrusion print, we can source it and stock it for you.
Akron Laser Cutting
Tendon Manufacturing has 3 lasers that can cut up to 3/8” thick material. Our brand new fiber-optic laser has twin 60” x 120” tables with a pallet changer. We stock and cut: aluminum, stainless steel and mild steel from .018” - .375”.
Akron Optical Laser Cutting
Our brand new Baykal New BLS-NEO fiber-optic laser has twin 60” x 120” cutting tables with a pallet changer to allow for 24/7 operating. This machine has been a game changer for Tendon in that we can cut material cheaper and faster than ever before. With cutting speeds up to 1,200 inches per minute, we can handle all quantities.
Akron Welding
Tendon has three welding shifts and offers MIG/TIG and spot welding of aluminum, stainless and mild steel. Our 10 welders have over 250 years of experience! No matter how intricate the welding may be, we can handle it!
Akron CNC Machining
Tendon has 6 HAAS machining centers for production work and 10 Bridgeports for prototyping and secondary operations. With over 8 full time machinists on staff, we have the capacity and expertise to machine all of your parts, including plastics.
Akron Prototype Design
We have 3 full time engineers on staff to help make your design perfect. Our engineers have all been in the industry for over 20 years each. We have SolidWorks, Striker, GibbsCam and more. Tendon can turn prototypes around in as quickly as a week!
Akron Silk Screening
If you need to add a personal touch to your parts, Tendon can silkscreen any design you require. Whether it be your company logo, instructions or warnings, Tendon can handle your silkscreen needs.
In-House Logistics from Concept to Delivery to Akron Canton Ohio Locations:
Tendon has a fleet of 4 trucks with deliveries to the Akron/Canton area three times a week. Instead of having to schedule and pay for freight, let Tendon deliver your parts!
