San Diego Metal Fabrication Shop
We have been around for nearly 30 years due to our knowledge and expertise in metal fabrication and machining. Tendon has several lasers, machining centers, press brakes, assembly presses, robotic welding and a full powder coating line in house.
San Diego Powder Coating Service
Through the years, Tendon has added 3 powder booths, a 1,000-point conveyor system, a three stage wash, a desiccant air dryer and updated our ovens to provide an imperfection-free powder coating service.
San Diego Metal Extrusion
Tendon has strategic extrusion manufacturers that we work with to source your extruded material. We will stock it, cut it, machine it, powder coat it and silkscreen it to meet your prints.
San Diego Laser Cutting
Our lasers cut up to ½” material and we typically work with aluminum, mild steel and stainless steel. We have the ability to cut other metals if needed. Our laser beds range from 48” x 96” up to 60” x 120”.
San Diego Optical Laser Cutting
Baykal New BLS-NEO fiber-optic laser . We are constantly upgrading our equipment in order to meet our customers’ needs. Recently, we added a fiber-optic laser that can cut up to 1,400 inches per minute and has a pallet changer to help with large production orders. This powerful laser can cut up to ½” thick material leaving minimal burrs.
San Diego Welding
We offer MIG/TIG, spot welding and robotic welding at Tendon Manufacturing. Our twelve, full-time welders have over 300 hours of experience in working with aluminum, mild steel and stainless steel.
San Diego CNC Machining
Tendon was founded in 1988 as a machine shop which is why machining is near and dear to our hearts. We have CNC machining centers, Lathes, Bridgeports and other milling, drilling & tapping machines in our 50,000 square foot facility.
San Diego Prototype Design
We have three engineers on staff that are proficient in the following software: GibbsCam, SolidWorks and Striker. They are available to assist in your designs or take your ideas and turn them into prototypes. For rapid prototyping, we utilize our 3D printers.
San Diego Silk Screening
Our screen printing is done in house on both plastic and metal parts. We can add any logo or detail needed directly to your product giving it a professional finish.
Door to Door Delivery, We've Got You Covered
Tendon ships across California due to our quick turnaround and competitive pricing. Based in Ohio, we have low overhead costs and are able to ship to California for under what you would pay for these parts to be made in San Diego. We operate using four shifts so you will be able to contact someone in our office at all hours.
