A highly diversified metal fabrication company in Cleveland, Ohio. We are a full service, single source solution, for all your sheet metal fabrication needs.
Our Cleveland, Ohio machine shop facility is a one-stop approach to metal fabrication allowing customers to have their parts laser cut, CNC machined, formed, welded, PEMS inserted, powder coated and silk screened all in one place. Tendon works with all metals including: Aluminum, Brass, Bronze, Copper, Mild Steel and Stainless Steel. We take the hassle out of sending parts to multiple vendors by doing all the fabrication in house.
Tendon’s Engineering Department can help improve current designs and turn ideas into prototypes. Our highly trained and experienced engineers are a great resource to our customers and are able to assist with design work. Whether you are short staffed or do not have an engineer, Tendon can help with design work. With the addition of our 3D printer, our customers can have a model in their hands within hours.
With six 3-axis vertical machining centers, Tendon can meet all of your general machining requirements. We have the ability to machine: aluminum, brass, bronze, copper, plastic, steel and stainless steel. In addition to the CNC machining centers, we maintain a variety of manual milling machines, lathes, drill presses, and small surface grinders available for any type of machining requirements.
We source, stock and machine extrusions for our customers. We cut extrusions to length, machine the cutouts, powder coat or paint the extrusions and can even silk screen extrusions. All we need is the extrusion design and we work with our vendors to find you the best priced option.
Welding Sheet Metal
Tendon Manufacturing offers MIG, TIG and spot welding services for aluminum, steel and stainless steel. Whether it is tac-welding, spot welding or seam welding, Tendon can weld it all.
Welding Sheet Metal
Tendon Manufacturing uses three laser cutting machines for everyday production. Our lasers can cut up to ¼” thick metal and have cutting tables that measure four feet wide by eight feet long. The advantages to laser cutting are: accuracy, less deburring and no tooling costs.
Looking for a professional finish on your part? Do not use stickers or magnets when you can have us permanently ink your logo or artwork onto the parts. We silk screen on aluminum, brass, bronze, copper, most plastics, steel and stainless steel.
Prototype | Design
By having an engineering department in house, we work with our customers to come up with the best product design. We take concepts and turn them into engineered products. Our engineers draw from their manufacturing experience and create products that can be made in the most cost efficient manner. If you want something quick, we can utilize our 3D printer to fabricate a plastic part in hours.
Our powder line consists of a 1,000 position conveyor line, three-stage washing system, two separate powder booths and a Desiccant Dryer which improves air quality and removes all imperfections in the powder spray. Tendon can meet all powder coating requirements including color, finish and texture.
